Happy New Year!

It has been a little while since my last post, so I wanted to update you on some of the more recent videos I have uploaded to YouTube.

First, I have uploaded three short videos about therapeutic aspects of conventional caregiving:

• Verbalising Understanding
• Giving attention proactively
• Responding to needs proactively

I have also uploaded a short video about trauma- and attachment-informed psychotherapy.

Further, I have uploaded a video about the difference between responding to the behaviour and responding to the need that gives rise to the behaviour. Click here to view the video.

Finally, I made a short video which poses what I think is a fundamental question that needs to be considered when making decisions about children and young people who cannot be safely cared for at home:

• What long-term outcomes do you want for children and young people who cannot safely be cared for at home?
